.....Kazakhstan
is located between Russia and China. It used to be part of the former
U.S.S.R., but then became its own country in 1991. Now it is a flourishing,
productive country with lots of national pride. Currently the country
is made up of over 15 million people from the following ethnic groups:
Kazakh (Qazaq) 53.4%, Russian 30%, Ukrainian 3.7%, Uzbek 2.5%, German
2.4%, Uygur 1.4%, and other 6.6%. |

people have beautiful complexions ranging from fair skin and light
hair to dark skin with black hair. A majority of the people look European,
Mongolian, Asian, or any imaginable mix of all three. All the citizens
have an incredible since of unity and pride about their nation, their
president, their culture and especially their future. .....The
following map shows Kazakhstan with it's numerous cities and bodies
of water. The country is made up of open spaces, farm lands, large
mountain ranges and bustling cities. The broad range of terrain and
geographical features make Kazakhstan a diverse landscape with picturesque
views every where you look. .....In
the center of the map is Astana, the new capitol of Kazakhstan (previously
named "Agmola"). The president of Kazakhstan has declared
that by the year 2030, Astana will be a major, international city
that is recognized the world over. Many government projects are currently
underway to construct new buildings, parks and public areas. Many
private developers are also building new high-rise apartment complexes
and office buildings all over the city. In addition to Astana, Kazakhstan
has many other large cities including Karaganda and Almaty..
